Customs Procedure for Moving Household Goods in to Sudan
All shipments 100% inspected. Shipment by air recommended to reduce loss and damage. 

Documents Required
Inventory, endorsed by Sudanese Embassy at origin 
Import License or M.F.A. (for diplomatic shipments) 
Letter from Customer authorizing Destination Agent to clear shipment 


Vehicle/Car
Importation of cars highly taxed
Restricted Items 
New items and electrical equipment dutiable 

Prohibited Items
Alcohol, pornographic materials 
Drugs, weapons 
Living plants 
All printed matter, Records, films, Tapes, Slides, movies, videos, compact discs, computer software, etc. Subject to censorship and confiscation (must be packed separately for easy access)
