AMSA (American Moving and Storage Association) is a non-profit trade association established in 1936 for moving and relocation related companies. It has an education foundation (c)(3), The Moving & Storage Institute.
AMSA moving company members are 3,200 professional movers moving interstate household goods (between states) and International moving between countries. In addition, these companies may provide intrastate and local moving services as well as storage in a secure warehouse.
The move profile information collected through the Mover Referral Service (MRS) of AMSA is emailed only to movers selected by the customer on AMSA site to receive it. AMSA member Movers participating in the MRS agree to keep all profile information confidential. No other information from customer is collected on AMSA consumer site.
